I did say almost zero, not zero. 
Myra Hindley is actually a great example. The bloke actually killed all the kids, but she still gets most of the publicity. Most people probably can't even name him.
And you're even blaming all the male killers/abusers actions on their mums!

You did, indeed, say 'almost zero' I read your post. Did you read mine?
You also said 'in the news' which doesn't mean to say it doesn't exist.
I didn't say ALL killers/abusers crimes are the fault of the mother. What I was alluding to is that most violent acts have much more complicated roots than newspapers would like you to believe... But 'sex' sells ( even rape and acts of violence if they can headline a 'sexual' angle they will, regardless that the crime of rape is often not sexually motivated )
The larger proportion of violent/abusive criminals are a product of what's gone in their lives before ( not all but the majority ) people aren't born 'evil'... Possibly with the exception of serial killers ( if you accept that term as a specific category) who are not 'human' in the usual understanding of the term.
I think there's a significant diference between male and female criminality. Women who serial kill are far more likely to be of the "black widow" variety who kill men after bringing them into their lives and getting them to rewrite wills etc.
As for Brady and West in both of those cases they wouldn't have been able to kill as many people without a female accomplice. If only because the victims they picked up thought "oh that's alright he's with a lady he's alright"
Not to mention women who make their kids available to sexual predators, so they can get a fella.

Obviously, there are PLENTY of evil/violent/psycho women out there. But no one can say with a straight face that the vast, VAST majority of sex attackers and sexual abusers aren't men.
