To be fair, there's no evidence to suggest you've been playing this season.

:D It's come to something when I'm no longer the harshest voice in the thread.

I will be playing next season. My team is called the King of threads.I support Man Utd.

You're still welcome, David.

I had a -2er; my own fault for getting one of Putters' mob in.

Fortunately Mignolet saved enough shots to bring him back up to nought. :)

Ouchie. Fair comment, but ouchie.

Well, according to the playing history you beat Dan last year and finished with 2005 points so I expect this to be a blip.

Thanks Statto
Any predictions for the final table this season?
Will it stay as it is?

Anyone 5th or below should be 'gambling big' this round, the last Double Gameweek.

Me? I'm launching a weapons-grade masterplan. It's called Don Scoreleone. Good luck, all.

Don score le One ?

I shifted my team over the last 3 weeks to make it more DGW friendly. so I didn't need to do much this week
But a double Bale blinder will make it mostly worthless I'd imagine.
Set em up for Defoe I say

I've gone HUGE on transfers and smashed the record, which was 5 I think. I'm only 20pts off bronze so could have sat tight - but there's no fun in that.

F**king hell Don. 20pts is a huge hit to take. Unless these are high scoring matches you're gonna suffer.

I planned to have one more DGW defender but having to sell Suarez f**ked it. I wasn't prepared to take a point hit as it's so hard to predict games at this stage of the season.

Everyone seems to be expecting an Arsenal massacre at Loftus Road but they've never beaten QPR at home in the PL era. I think they could pinch a goal or too - especially since Zamora is back.

I approve of your shit or bust strategy but also remember that I got 98 points in GW23 with only one DGW player.

Good luck anyway.

Dan did a few transfers as well
But he had two free by the look of it so only took a 12 point hit.

Godot may be the beneficiary of DGW deadline, as his team already had enough players with more games to play.

Bale came up trumps again I see
Grrr

Funny that. ;)

It was the sensible thing to do.

Yeah, those 6 transfers cost 20pts but crucially brought in 34 - a return of 14pts.

Small potatoes, sure, but it was this season's riskiest wager and profits were made. So I'm happy enough.

If you'd only used your free transfer and brought in say Kone you'd be four points adrift of what you are now, but of course you would only have one player to play again, so what you did is definitely better.

Will go third tonight after the Sunderland game (unless Stoke channel the spirit of Aleister Crowley and produce an uncharacteristic goal frenzy) because I'm one point behind Dan and he's got no-one playing.
