I was very upset the other day when I turned the standard lamp on and it went pop, Ah I thought the bulbs gone. But after trying three different bulbs and a new fuse I realised the lamp was kaput. I angrily muttered more bloody expense and sought out the Argos web page. There I saw the self same lamp on sale for a fiver, cheaper than some new bulbs. Result, I felt a sense of victory that was totally out of proportion to the given outcome. 
Funnily enough I was in Morrison's today and thought 'I must post on the things that piss you off thread my annoyance that the only bulbs they seem to stock are the eco friendly crap that don't light anything up !
Thanks God for the Internet and the availability of 'proper' 100w bulbs !
