I never saw it but read about it and didn't think it sounded too bad an ending. I mean ours was (SPOILER) was a police heaven for crying out loud!
I didn't know there was an American 'Life on Mars', was it any good? I liked the UK version, but got thoroughly bored with Ashes to Ashes.
