I read the news today oh boy! Page 1,204

Means testing the elderly would in itself cost money so not sure how they are going to implement this one, I do agree with the thinking behind cutting the allowances for the well off though.

They could do the decent thing?

And the unemployed could stop smoking

What? not talk about their piles?

Top themselves at 50. ;)

Give the money back voluntarily if they don't it

In exchange for discussing their bum grapes with shandy

:D it's a fair cop.

Something psychologically wrong though with asking them to 'give it back' and may get up the goat of even the nicest OAP.

Under the benefit changes it could come to this. In my field of experience people who lose housing benefit could/will be subject to an affordability test so 'Do you smoke? Have you got Sky/Virgin? Do you drink regularly? etc.

And I thought you were my friend! *weeps*

I can count on one hand the number of times I've used my bus pass (why did I work hard to afford a car and then consort with the masses?) and it pisses me off to see people here with 2 cars in the drive and the mean bastards hop on the bus for nothing.

Over 50 doesn't that make you the oldest living woman in Scotland?

Has Alex salmon sent you a telegram yet?

Hold on! I need to find my teeth before I answer that.

If you were a true Scot, it'd be sootyj looking on the floor for his.

Just give me time. *smiles menacingly*
