They're releasing a new album imminently. Apparently this line up has been together longer than any other although they haven't recorded much lately.

Have you heard An Other Cup by Yusuf - his super hero alter-ego? Very good in places - especially See the Light.

It looks like Dave Lister after he spent three million years in stasis

Get thee to a barbershop dude

I'm mainly having an evening listening to the Clash.

But I did just listen to Leona Lewis' cover of Hurt and didn't hate it as much as I was expecting.

Have you got The Clash from here to eternity ?

Listening to it earlier

Great live album

No, I have a few gaps in my Clash collection. I had a load of them on tape and still haven't bought some on cd. From here to eternity is one I've never had. I will look into it!

It's not like a full concert, it's more of a compilation of live tracks

Most of which sound amazing

Complete Control is pretty mind blowing

I've also got the live from shea stadium cd, butthat's not as good - punk isn't meant for bloody stadiums!!

Very true. Complete Control is one of my faves. Along with Career Opportunites, Death or Glory, Tommy Gun, I fought the law... etc.

Hmmm. I can feel a YouTube trawl through some obscure punk coming on. Though punk isn't meant for computers either!

Ha!

How very very true

Some Might Say - Oasis

It came out 18 years ago this week. Jesus! One of my favourite Oasis songs, hummable riffs and ridiculous lyrics.

The Bluetones; very underrated band.
