Your a girl you don't count

:P

I'm not a girl and I thought it looked shite when I was kid

Star trek intellectual? In the sense that it splits infinitives, is American flag waving bullshit, wraps itself in a cloak of self aggrandisement that is neither born out by the content or premiss? I always found it painfully slow, long winded and unsurprising.

I know we Hancockians stick together but, I must take issue on splitting infinitives !

There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing it imo.

Wow...

You must have been the fat kid that sat on his own under a tree reading famous five books while the rest of us ran around pretending to be Jedi Knights!

Are you saying to frequently split infinitives is not ultimately a bad thing?

Time and a place billwill, time and a place.

It's what sounds right for me not what is or isn't grammatically correct.

To use your example I would say . .

Are you saying that frequently splitting infinitives is, ultimately, not a bad thing?

> I would say
>Are you saying that frequently splitting infinitives is, ultimately, not a bad thing?

So would I probably, normally, but it was meant to be a subtle joke.
:)

Jon Ronson did something on this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01rw4q3

Featuring an interesting interview with Adam Buxton, describing his possible Intermittent Explosive Disorder.

Journalist becomes the story.

"brand new anchor's first words on air are 'f**king shit'... and now he's suspended"

I don't think I can watch the video, that's so embarrassing. Poor bastard.

I was more taken with the "keep on f**king that chicken" video. Beautiful reaction from the co-host.
