Doctor Who... Page 967

Just as long as it aint Will I am full of shit.

He's called Ashley Walters, he's just an actor these days I think, been in a lot of stuff.

Are you still kissing the frogs at the council pond?

I thought the council took an ASBO on you for that.

Laughing out loud they did, but I enter via one of those pocket universe thingies and they can't touch me.

Pocket universe eh isn't that?

OBSENE INUNEDO JOKE EVEN SOOTYJ NOT PREPARED TO MAKE

Not a bad little episode. I'm not sure it's quite worth the Thatcher Funeral level of gushing, but fairly fun nonetheless. The floating forest was good (lifted from The Fountain) and the slightly speeded up monster worked well (I've seen that done before but can't remember where). Plus 1974 woman was sexy.

Babylon 5 did if for the Shadows servants.

It was an excellent 45 minutes of telly, better than most not the best Dr Who ever but good stuff.

Is funny the way Clara/Jenna has a perfectly normal(;)) accent, then suddenly says 'money' all northern.

I wish they wouldn't keep having those bits when they go into the future and the Doctor's assistant sees the earth has ended and gets all upset. Rose used to do it about 3 times a series, now they've got Clara at it.

Oh come on Grinch there's a finite number of memes a show can use.

Data tells a joke, Willow looks piss faced about witchy stuff, Tom Baker offers something a jelly baby.

I thought they handled it well and Clara's musing on how she was a corpse to him was quite heavy stuff for a tea time slot.

Hey, he started this whole thread with a moan, he's just making sure his character is consistent. That's just good writing.

Despising the fault in others he hates himself?

Poor guy

I actually really enjoyed this episode. Best one of this year so far, I thought. It did scare me in places, and I haven't been properly scared since "Blink".

Did anyone else think it was weird that Clara was talking about being a ghost to the Doctor considering she's technically died twice?

Good episode, still all felt a bit rushed though, I think it really is time to reintroduce the two parter. Still good though, I think Clara's character is one of the best for a long time, and the mystery surrounding her is not to laboured, unlike the Amy storyline. If Smith is to leave, which I think might help reinvigorate the show, I'd like it to go more serious in the vein of Pertwee, with a quality actor like Paterson Joseph bringing a bit of gravitas to the role.

Just watching this now. The woods looks like the same place they filmed Hal's death in Being Human.

Good ep
