That 1979 show is still on BBC Parliament. Earlier they were talking about life in the year 2000. It was nothing like what they thought it would be like and it made me sad. :(

Hmm. The bit about the computerised television voting might not be to far off now. Not sure about the hover cars though. I remember watching The Jetsons when I was little and my Mum telling me that it had been on when she was young and there was talk at the time that some of that technology would be possible by 2000. That was bout 1994/95. I also remember a few movies from late 90's early 00's that depicted we would all be in flying cars/ have robot servants by around 2014/15.
