Yes, there's a name for "difficulty in recognising faces" (just the latin for face recognition blindness) but it doesn't mean there is actually anything wrong any more than being left-handed is wrong.

Prosopagnosia is what I was referring too. I think it's probably a bit more far reaching in the effects it has than the the horror of being left handed.

You don't have prosopagnosia, Bill just very, very low visual awareness. But you're proving my point, you seem to not want to accept it.
I on the other hand accept and admit that I am not at all good at Mathematics. In fact I am utter shit and it's my fault.

About 10 years ago I somehow managed to get my name on a list for an identity parade. There were all these balding 30-something blokes with facial hair of various lengths all stood in the police station gymnasium (yes, it had one - don't ask me why).
The criminal chap never appeared for some reason and we were all send home with an extra tenner in our pockets. I was never asked back so I guess the ruffian got clean away with it, guv.

Along with "not at all good at Maths", it would seem that you are not at all good at logic either. Which doesn't surprise me, as you imply that you are very good at visual matters. In my experience those good at visual creations are not likely to be good at logic. It's all to do with the 'division of labour' between the left hemisphere and right hemisphere of our brains. Right-side deals with non-verbal comprehension (including visual) and left-side deals with verbal comprehension, language and logic.
Being left-brained dominant or right-brained dominant is neither good nor bad, it is simply different, just like being left-handed or right-handed.

No it isn't, you jump to conclusions and you don't fill in the necessary qualifying phrases that make it clear.

No it doesn't. The Open University talks about facial recognition, the original post was an invitation to make a photofit of ourselves or a loved one and post it for entertainment value.
I wonder how we got to this point Bill - you accusing me of 'not being good at logic' and you unable to read a few paragraphs of mine without projecting your own views onto me. Then the astonishing claim that you're 'bored with the argument' when you appear not to have followed any of it.
I used to respect you - for your age, for your SF background and your amiable and helpful posts, but you're actually a narky and irritating duffer. Stick to bell ringing.
