Make one of yourself or one of somebody you once woke up beside. ;)

That is someone I once woke up beside !

Very interesting!

This widget is perfect proof of something I've spent half my life arguing - that we don't all perceive as well as each other. Most people have no difficulty accepting that musicians have better acquisition and understanding of sound than non-musicians and even writers with language, but advance the idea that some people have greater visual perception, acquisition and understanding and you'll meet an angry wall of disagreement.

The game invites you to 'do' a celebrity from a list of six. I chose Fearn Cotton. Here's two by other people I picked at random. They don't resemble Fearn Cotton in any way. I couldn't find any that did. Since this task involves placing pre-defined images it requires no technical artistic skill, only visual perception. It proves my point.

that looks to be very accurate tuumble - if that's you in the foreground.

That third one doesn't have nearly enough chin stubble to look like Fearn.

The one I did of me ended up looking exactly like someone else I know. Which was a bit odd.

I find it a bit frustrating that you can't alter the width of the face, so everyone seems to get a rather fat jaw/cheeks.

You can alter the width of everything.

I can only make the jaws wider. They all start at the thinnest they go.

Okay I understand. There could be more movement. I couldn't get Fearne's chin any higher and it's still too low.

It's a tool for creating a likeness and generally does a good job. If you get it right everyone would identify the face I think.

Rob Halford?

;)

I remember once getting the fright of my life when a photo fit appeared on the front page of the local rag. In those days (late 80s) I had a full head of hair and a tache but the face staring back was a dead ringer of me - I so wish I'd kept it but I was too busy hijacking a plane and heading for Rio.

:D

I used to have a little set of cards for doing something like this, I wonder where I put them.

Heh, Heh it can't do present me well, it doesn't have a beard with no moustache.

Theres's no way, I would be any use anyway in describing a face to the police as I have no visual facial recall. In fact no visual recall at all except when I'm dreaming, I think in abstract objects not visuals. I'm the next step up the evolutionary chain from all you guys & gals who think in pictures. Pleased

But I could be a retrograde step instead :) who's to know... Errr
