A nation mourns-
I read the news today oh boy! Page 1,188
Quote: garyd @ April 9 2013, 12:44 AM BSTReading some of you lot makes me realise I'm a right-wing fascist c**t!
No wonder I'm not funny.
If it were'nt for Thatcher we'd be a very small cog in the United Kingdom of Europe.
Fact.
And we're not? Why do most votes go 26 - 1 against us ?
Quote: Kenneth @ April 8 2013, 5:59 PM BSTStone the crows! You'd think she was flamin' Lady Macbeth the way some of youse lot are carrying on. What'd she ever do apart from tell the unions to pull their bloody heads in, and sell off the crappy economy, and go ter war to act tough? Only legit complaint I heard is that she never done anything for wimmin - she just behaved like a man, what with the teddy boy haircut and attitude. But I'll youse this, Asians in general - especially the sheilas, reckon she was a fair dinkum hero, no worries, cos she stood up to everyone. Most of me pommy mates reckon she was the devil incarnate. But that's a bit flamin' harsh. She was no bloody Maozaydung or Suharto or Pol Pot. Or no Joe Stalin or Hitler for that matter. You lot don't know when you're well off.
Are you really Alf Stewart?
if we're going down the saint route, why not stick her in an Italian catacomb where people can freely watch her body decompose?
Optimism, redefined . .
Sir James said he would also give up 30pc of his "substantial pension entitlement", though the cut will still leave him with an index-linked £406,000 this year that will rise with inflation.
That is more than the £342,500 a year Mr Goodwin was left with in 2009 when he volunteered to cut his own pension by £200,000 annually. He had originally retired on £703,000 a year but that was reduced to £555,000 after he took out a £2.8m lump sum.
Twunt.

Twatting c**t
Fixed.
So Boris Johnson wants a statue of Thatcher to be erected in Trafalgar Square. That's a brave idea.
I think it should be made of iron. Not because she was the iron lady, I just have a feeling it's going to need to be made of something durable.
They should boobytrap it.
There is a village in Lancashire that has about fifty nice detached houses full of relatively well to do people, sadly it has the most vandalised road sign in the country.
Not a nice statistic but if you have a sign that reads 'Welcome to Lunt' you're begging for it.
I fear any public statue to this woman would be targeted day and night and would end up costing the public purse millions of pounds in both police hours, prosecutions and imprisonments.
Just seen an interview with Thatchers son on channel 4
Sir Mark Thatcher
Umm

How the FUCK was he made a Sir?

It was hereditary.
It was an hereditary title
The thing I don't understand with all this Thatcher hatred is how did she manage to get elected three times? It's the same with Blair, he was highly reviled after Iraq, but he won his third election just two years later...
It took me ages to spell hereditary
