Cats. Don't ya just love 'em?

One of mine(?!) was put out this morning and was so grateful he quickly deposited on the steps to the rear of the communal stairs the corpse of a beautiful robin.

The evil f**king bastard!

Cats. Don't ya just love 'em?

NO!! Angry

They're better than birds.

:O What the flip?

I know someone whose cat actually licked the top of a bottle of LSD once >_<

They kept the cat in for close observation until it wore off.

At fighting, evidently!

Where does the expression "It's so roomy in here you could swing a cat" come from?

I've always heard it the other way round - when a place is tiny - 'You couldn't swing a cat in it' but I don't know where it comes from.

It's such a horrible phrase! But I don't know where it comes from either.

Probably a cat o' nine tails or something, not even to do with actual cats, I expect.

Even Alan Partridge uses it when he wants to buy the big mansion "...you could swing a tiger..."
