I'm looking for a writing partner in London to write some sketches or possibly a sitcom. I've got a few ideas but I think it better to write with someone else!

This is pretty much the reason I joined this forum, but I don't remember posting this thread!!!

I've got over 60 sketch formats, basically, if it moves, lampoon it, however, the only two people I know of who did it all on their own were Spike Milligan (who did say that he was ill), and Paul Merton, both of whom ended up in the funny farm for their troubles, so I'd rather find a writing partner and avoid a trip to that facility.

i'm 44, a London bus driver, and have been deluding myself for more than two decades that I am a writer of comedy... well at face value I'm still driving a London bus so success has eluded me thus far.

Writing for me is like a sickness or disease, as I've tried stopping it, but can't. One day some scientists are gunna isolate the gene that causes me to write, then they'll make a medication so that I can pop a pill and be cured, but until that day arrives, I'm stuck as a writer.
