I've never talked on the phone I got for Christmas. I only use it to text and use the internet.

This I believe. ;)

Cool

This I believe. ;) Of course I don't use a mobile phone, what the f**king hell is the point in talking to some c**t unless they're in f**king punching distance.

You f**king c**ts.

I'll give you New Who up your c**ting shit pipe.

It's good to talk!

Do you all still have landlines.....in your caves?

Over and out...I'd feel bare without it.

I have a talk talk mobile contract, I hate talking on a mobile as any phone I've had seems to be burning hot after a few minutes, then I have to put it on speaker, then everyone can hear me talking shite....so only use the mobile for texting, never the internet, that would drive me potty.

This is a con? Is it? What's the catch?

Well, you'll never use up your 50 minutes because you'll never be able to get a signal. I had Orange, once, and I'd have been better off with two cans joined with string.

Well the Ace is an old, small phone, which you can buy brand new and unlocked for around £100. The Tab 2 at 7" is about £150. So the catch is that you pay them £372 and they give you stuff worth £250.

Are 2 years of texts, minutes and data worth more or less than £122 to you? And is it outweighed by the potential inconvenience of being locked into a 2 year contract?

If I had a contract I'd be wasting tons of money on stuff I don't use. So pay as you go it is. :)

Don't you find that you have to pay a fixed sum per month to use the Internet in any case.

I have PAYG with O2 for the phone use, but a £6 per month 'bolt-on' for data and If I forget to top that up the so-and-sos charge £1 for the tiniest part of any day midnight-to-midnight which could amount to £31 in a month....
Angry Angry Angry

I'm wondering if a contract would serve me better.

I pay £5 for a month's internet.

Is that the unit of internet? A month?

No a moth, from tales of the very first bug found in a computer.

I'm with GiffGaff again, £10 "30 day contract" = 250mins, Unlimited Texts, 1GB Data. Suits me fine.

It deletes every text message you've ever sent

Oh is that what Giff Gaff is. I hear their little ad millions of times a week during every repeat of The Big Bang Theory, but it never sank in what they were.
