Not today but have on and off for the last few. Pages taking ages to load and then sometimes only loading part of it. I don't think It's my computer/connection because other sites are fine.

Same here.

I'm currently turning my blog into a website. It's going to have a very basic look as I want it to be minimalist and simple due to it being a resource guide. Luckily, the basic look does have a retro feel about it which ties in nicely with the content of the site. However, as I have very few web designer skills, even making a basic looking website is very time consuming. Now that I've done a few pages and saved a few templates, it's getting a bit easier.

I think that's my longest status update ever.

A good blog is worth a small investment in money if you want to do anything with it.

In my humble opinion.

What are you doing? Converting the blog into more of a website, or actually building a brand new website from scratch?

Well at the moment, the blog is a bit cluttered as I have a feature on a show, then maybe an interview and an episode guide all on the same page. I wanted to set something up like comedy.co.uk has for their database on comedy shows - with separate pages for cast and crew, episode guides etc. Plus, I've bought a domain name to make it look a bit more professional.

I'm building it from scratch, but transferring over the 20 or so shows I've already done. Mark, from this site, advised to move to a website sooner rather than later as the time taken to transfer everything over can be time consuming. I'm glad I started now instead of the original plan of moving over when I had covered 100 or so shows...

Well I've invested - not much admittedly - in a domain name. Then there'll be the hosting - again not that much with the minimal traffic I'll be getting.

No coffee. So I made a tea. Got milk out of the fridge and it's off. Not a happy jan.
