I doubt you got it for £4.99 when it's 8.99...
It was £4.99
It was a third party seller on Amazon
I could prove it but I can't be arsed

Oh right. fair enough. I'm not really bothered to be honest.
Quote: G180e @ March 23 2013, 5:26 PM GMTAre all of the HMVs going to eventually close?
Eventually - when all civilisation has come to an end.
I believe that HMV has been bought , hence why all the remaining stores are having new stock in and not closing but it wouldn't surprise me if the company goes down again!
I discovered yesterday that my last remaining local branch, previously named as one to be closing, was staying open "thanks to the support from our customers and landlord".

That's Nice isn't it. I'm glad they're not shutting them all as I do like HMV as personally ordering offline is pants as you have to wait. Plus , you don't get that exciting feeling hen you pick up a DVD you don't have.
I tend to get more excited by spending as little money as possible and getting the best deal. Rarely does that mean buying anything in HMV, alas.

What about the queues?
On a number of occasions I went in my local branch, picked something, went to pay for it and basically gave up and put it back on the shelf cos there was like fifty people queuing up
Screw that!
It's not f**kin Russia

Good God, man. Are you not British?!!
I live in Blackpool now and I go to shop called That's entertainment. And my HMV is still open but there is a sale on though. You can't imagine HMV or Woolworths to be bankrupt. Stupid government it is all David Cameron's fault with the tax. I cannot wait for labour to come back in.

You couldn't be more wrong if you tried, David Smith. HMV have been declining for the best part of 15 years, and the present Government has cut taxes for businesses to try to stop this exact thing from happening - changes which Labour has opposed.
Woolworths, BTW, collapsed when Labour were in power.

Yes , Aaron you do have a fair point.
