They are, mind you No Pleasin' You is a sublime song of genius Cool

tales of the darkside really good tonight

What you must all realise is that you must NEVER EVER watch soaps. They are brain-numbing pish designed for brain-dead robots. If you pretend to have a brain then turn off the TV or turn your back on it if it belongs to somebody else.

Agreed :D

Or, if you are very intelligent and are busily working your brain to its limit all day every day, watching a soap once or twice a week to give your brain a break is quite a nice relaxing thing to do. ;)

I just find them depressing and miserable.

Corrie and Stenders have both done lovely light comedy and human interest from time to time.

I watch EastEnders and Coronation Street but only about once each per week. If I watch all of the episodes it eats into too much time.

I only watch eastenders

It's utter shit

But I can't stop watching

I think I need a lobotomy

Or a remote.

It's not once or twice a week though is it, its every bloody day, day after day, Corrie had some nice moments in the past, Jack and Vera etc, but it wasn't worth the hours of boredom for the moments of laughter. They are as Marx said like religion an opiate of the masses

Yes, but we don't HAVE to watch every day.

I'll never need a lobotomy

As long as there's a full bottle infront of me.

I think the rot hit years ago when they introduced Kat and Alfie as kinda a sweet, funny doomed couple.

And just replaced them with a load of dull assed gangster bollocks.

But what if you have a wife who watches every episode of every episode until slowly your brain turns inside out and you wander around humming the eastenders theme with a vacant look in your eyes crying on the inside, AAAHHHH DUFFF DUFFF DUFFF
