Feel really sad today. I knew the boy who was killed on the French Alps along with his father over the weekend. My daughter went to a parent and toddler group with him we then mixed socially over the years, I knew his mother quite well though we lost touch a few years ago. Gutted for her.

That's just awful; it is sad enough when these things happen to strangers but when it is someone you know it has got to be distressing.

Waiting for a pizza. It has a hotdog stuffed crust.

Oh dear, I'm sorry Shandonbelle. I missed it on the news and on here. Sorry for subsequent flippant posts and non-acknowledgement.

Hug

Thanks for the kind words guys, wish there was a way of turning back the clock for them.

Sorry to hear they were known to you, just as I was sorry to hear about it on the news. While we were safely asleep last night some poor soul hung himself just yards away in the park beside our house - don't know whether he used a tree or the bridge over the ravine. We woke to find the street full of police cars. Very sad.

Chip's waiting for somebody who's always late. Chip's easygoing joe so he doesn't mind.

Chip does mind enough to post it here. It's never to late to post it in the "Things that piss you off"-thread ;)

As you may recall I haven't been in work since November but the day to return may be coming.

On that basis I picked up my work trousers from the bedroom floor to put them in the wash.

Checked the pockets and found £10 note !

:P
