It won't be shit

And it won't be great

It'll be alright

Partridge just isn't movie material IMO

It's daft, I'd have six new eps of I'm Alan Partridge anyday

Give us a third series ya shit

I agree with you swell , loft house. A movie is a good idea but I'd love a third series instead. :D

Outside Britain the movie won't be shown in many cinemas. So, I'll most probably have to buy the DVD to watch it.

What recent films have you liked, Will Cam? I've seen you poo pooing quite a lot of pretty decent new films.

I have been very negative Chip and I am actually struggling to think of a film I have seen in the last couple of years that I actually enjoyed.

'Yesterday The Norwich Evening News revealed how the town of Sheringham was preparing for a scene in which Partridge will be chased by a number of police cars.

Sheringham town mayor Doug Smith said: "The secretary of the chamber of trade and I have been talking to a film production company which will be coming to Sheringham to film a short sequence of an international movie starring Steve Coogan as Alan Partridge. The film crew will spend two days on Cromer Pier before spending one afternoon in Sheringham. They will be with us on Wednesday 27th February."

I'd skive off work for that.

I might walk over the road.

His hair is too long in those photos. He looks like Richard Hammond and Alan would never want to look like Richard Hammond.

Unusual hairstyle for Alan.

Alpha Papa! Laughing out loud

Excellent! Although Colossal Velocity is pretty great too. I'm cautiously optimistic about this.

As long as there is no pandering to the wider audience and it all stays very "Alan" then yes, I'm cautiously optimistic too.

Especially if it is what the trailer suggests, Alan making his own film, because that is in his world, perfectly plausible. Let's just hope it doesn't get pulped or whatever the celluloid equivalent of that is.

Very funny trailer. Hurrah!

Talking of Coogan, I'm looking forward to seeing his Paul Raymond this year.
