British Comedy Guide

Are these British Classic comedy movies any rare?

Hi there, I am new here.

I am not a British but just been given some British old classic comedy films on super 8mm format (celluloid). I join many super 8mm forums and found these films have never been discussed, but perhaps not the case on other format.

Those films I mark with RARE, do you think is really rare or I made a wrong judgement.

Your valuable input is appreciated!

thanks Wave

My apology.

I understand some are easy to get, but my concern is those marked with RARE.

They are on super 8mm film format (celluloid)

Well, do you mean 'rare' as in rare completely - in any format - or simply rare on 8mm?

For starters, every single one of the films you've decided are 'ultra rare', can be bought on DVD for a few pounds.

But I suspect you're just trying to promote that you have these available for sale? Perhaps somebody will be interested...

Hi Aaron,

Yes they are on 8mm. I indeed am selling them as I don't really in touch with British comedy. But I need to know if my justification on the rarity is correct. But I guess since you say they are easy to get on DVD, I might be wrong.

So I will change the "Ultra RARE" thingy.

BTW fr those who forgot "8mm" format, it is the same format with today's 35mm in cinema (although now many has moved to digital), but this is smaller width.
