In The Flesh

Is anybody else looking forward to this? I can't wait personally. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00szzcm

Doesn't really look my cup of tea!

Could be interesting. I'd never heard of it till now.

I'm getting a bit bored of zombies (and vampires, werewolves and ghosts) but this looks mildly interesting from the trailers. Although it'd be great if soon we had some new ideas on TV.

I like the concept of the reintegration of the surviving "Treated" Zombies. sending them back to their family's.

Yeah, it's not a bad angle. Although in this post-Twilight world it does look like a doomed tweeny romance will be a big part of it too.

Bleh. I'd rather have had a second series of Fades which was interesting and clever and unusual.

I'm also getting fed up with zombies and other murderous ghoulies that we have to feel sympathy for rather than running away from. We're reaching a saturation point, surely? Then we'll have a decade of no monsters at all.

Too true I'd like a real bastard supernatural monster. Something undefeatable and awful and completely set on wiping out us puny humans.

What am I talking about; WE ELECTED THEM!!

But serioulsy piss off Anne Rice and Twilight and all that crap and yes even later Joss Whedon.

Vampires are old and mean. They are the absolute archetype of the old, being envious of the young and wanting to devour their light. They're the predators that exist in the dark and frightening the primitive part of our brain that recognises we are prey.

Now that's what I want to see come back again.

I want a series with a big scary monster. Like Godzilla or Cloverfield or something.

Actually I saw a trailer for some new US series with a big tentacley monster. Looked a bit shit but fun.

But Zooo what's Cloverfield's character arc?

How does he learn how does he grow?

If you want to see "tentacley monster" then watch "Grabbers" its a kind of cross between "Father Ted" and "Tremors"

There's a new Irish horror movie where the monsters can't get you if you're pissed. So the heroes have to stay constantly bladdered sounds hilarious

Aw, with Jeff from Coupling!

Hey, remember when Jeff from Coupling left Coupling and made it shit so that he wouldn't only be known as 'Jeff from Coupling'? Silly Jeff from Coupling.
