To date I've enjoyed a good deal of Apatow's output, particularly Freaks & Geeks, The 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up. This one can get boned in eight different directions though.

I liked the 40 year old virgin.
'Anger Management' with Jack Nicholson (also included Mayor Juliano and John MacEnroe) which I found very entertaining in spite of the corny ending.
Black Sheep. Pretty funny German comedy drama about misfits and losers in Berlin. Although there was a point during a scene involving a grandson anally penetrating his naked catatonic grandmother during a satanic ritual that I thought it was trying too hard to shock.

Plus he did sterling work on Larry Sanders. I don't mind him, I just wish he'd remember brevity is the soul of wit and make his films a bit shorter. Funny People was two and a half hours long! No comedy film should be more than 90 minutes.

Dogtooth. Distressingly bleak Greek movie about a family who imprison their three kids within the grounds of their home, Fritzl style. Includes beatings, self-mutilation and incest. Worst date movie since Audition.
Quarantine 2: Terminal.. Pretty decent little zombie movie with the sort of bleak ending these things are supposed to have. Are you listening, Shaun Of The Dead?
