SCENE: A BOXING RING. INT. NIGHT.

JAMES AND CHIMES ARE THE COMBATANTS.

JAMES IS LYING FLAT ON HIS BACK ATTENDED BY MEDICS AS CHIMES DANCES AROUND THE RING WAVING HIS ARMS ABOVE HIS HEAD.

JAMES (GROGGY)
I see you still haven't learnt to exercise restraint when the possibility of an obvious punch surfaces.

I don't think I care to be in your ring, thank you very much.

No. I read YOUR scripts.

Please stop. It's childish.

I'm afraid your work is certainly no better than anyone else's on here.

I doubt that.

It's another snide comment from a delusional ego.

In the interest of conciseness I have made some amendments:

INT. BOXING RING - NIGHT

JAMES AND CHIMES ARE THE COMBATANTS.

JAMES IS LYING ON HIS BACK ATTENDED BY MEDICS AS CHIMES PARADES AROUND THE RING.

Tss! Laughing out loud

I find it interesting that Chimes sees us as being in a metaphorical boxing ring though. I would suggest that this is far from the truth and that such bizarre agression, even if taken "as a joke" is a bit too much. I mean, that's mental.

I bet your glass is always half empty.........joke

That's not how I see it panning out. If Chimes boxes like he writes, then his punches are likely to come with precise notes on when and where they will land, enabling James to get out of the way. If any do hit him, they're likely to cause as much pain as a couple of neurofen.

A superb rendering, David! I'm in awe. As usual. :D 100% fat-free.

EDIT: Saying that, I'd be tempted to remove the "I see" from James' dialogue. Pedant that I am.
