What was this show?

Hello all,

I am looking for some information on what I think was an 80s British sitcom. It has a theme tune that had the lyrics "You win some, You lose some, You keep on smiling through the blues some. Every day's another day of your life".
Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

Do you have any memory of it beyond the theme tune?

I imagine it in the style of a John Sullivan sitcom or something like Minder's theme tune.

Or this:

Googling it indicates he's been around a bit looking for the answer . . . .

I remember it as well.
But I can't think of the show.
But am betting it was a bit rubbish.

Yeah, and not only since yesterday. If he hasn't found it after a two year search in the internet then the chances are very small (like Baldrick's brain).

Nevertheless, it isn't a crime to ask around. So Eddie, again, any other memories about the show would be helpful? :)

It rings no bells, but I can imagine it being in:

If he hasn't found it after a two year search...

Google shows that the search started in 2006.

Seven long years....

I definitely remember watching this.
I know the tune It must have been early 80's

Probably had Anton Rodgers or Julia Mckenzie in as they all seemed to back then.

I'm surprised no one from here knows it though. I bet Alfred Kipper used to watch it

What sort of tempo was it?

Double fiend!

Mid slow
