Just saw a link to a "news" article on another that says. "Celebrity couple are having a boy or Girl."
Well DUH!

Holy crap! Someone just linked me to Seth MacFarlane's opening song for the Oscars. What an ill-judged gag that was. Just watch the faces of everyone in the audience whenever the camera cuts to them:

Sounds like Seth tried to do a Ricky Gervais Globes type thing and it backfired.
Aw, Jennifer Lawrence fell up the steps on the way to get her award? Bless.
Didn't the bottom half of her dress fall down at another awards show a couple of weeks ago? God, she's the American Miranda. I love her.
It amazes me that more of them aren't tripping on the stairs. Some of those dresses are extraordinarily ill-suited to walking!

Priceless.
I'm guessing/hoping the women whose faces they showed were in on the joke and looking stony faced on purpose...?
Otherwise it's too cringey to contemplate.

Totally. I trip up the stairs fairly often even when wearing normal clothes.

I don't think they are in on it. Just look at all the people sitting near them also looking incedibly unamused. Apart from the guy sitting next to the first woman who checks out her tits...

And the woman who applauded herself for not having revealed her boobs.
And everyone who laughed at the Kate Winslett gag.
I think it went down OK.
He did a ok job Seth Macfarlane.
I liked the star trek sketch and boob song.
Talking about a tough crowd. Try to be funny in front of Hollywood.
Apart from The Accused bit, I thought it was funny.
I hate that catch 22. "Show us your tits!" "Ok, if you really think it's necessary..." "Have some f**king self-respect and cover up!"

I, for one, would never say this. Rude.
Sorry, I wasn't saying you would. I'm saying that's what the song is doing. It's celebrating the fact that these actresses have appeared topless whilst humiliating them for having done so.
Maybe. Maybe it's just celebrating how wonderful boobs are.
If that's all it was doing it wouldn't have called out individuals by name and wouldn't have included a sort of 'well done for keeping your top on' for Jennifer Lawrence.
