May have been mentioned elsewhere in this thread but it's too long to check thoroughly.

Apparently Jon Pertwee was a real life Intelligence Officer during the war. He was involved with lots of different innovations and worked to Churchill and with James Bond creator Ian Flemming.

I think they should turn "Dr who" on its head for the next transformation. He should become a woman. Now I'm sure that would make a good talking point.

They've basically done what they did with Davros, given them pointed teeth. Scary!

Of course it isn't 50 years of Doctor who because it wasn't made between 1989 and 2005. By that definition, Reggie Perrin ran for 34 years.

Though there were books, comics and audio stuff. It didn't sit untouched, stories were still being written and told, just not in its proper medium.
