I ordered some modelling paints for my son
Infuriating. But funny.
The world really needs to introduce individual carbon points soon though.

That's a classic Lazzard.
Packaging in general is a nuisance, or when people put one onion in one of those plastic vegetable bags...I can understand if it's a carrot as it might look a bit rude pointing it at the cashier..
How much did the paint cost, Lazzrd? And was it free P & P?
£2.10 Free P&P.
Irony is, it was matt black - about the only one I could be reasonably sure of getting at our local (shitty) toy shop.
Job Hunting online:
90% of the jobs on Monster, SimplyHired, Gumtree (etc.) are:
Telesales
Street Harassment
Work From Home (Pyramid schemes etc.)
Commission-only lettings agents
Unpaid internships of 3-6 months in low-demand industries (i.e. slave labour), or "training courses"
Cherry-picking the remaining 10% of generic office admin positions, will lead to each one taking you off to some other site for which you have to register to apply.
Said site will then spam the crap out of you with random and completely unconnected vacancies.
90% of these applications will go unreplied, with a further 9% sending a standard cut-paste rejection letter.
That leaves the surviving 1% of applications, for whom you'll take several interviews (with expensive travel), before losing out to one of the other 6732864728642892384 university graduates who applied, or the manager's nephew.
And don't get me f**king started on companies who ask for a CV, and yet make you fill-in their time-consuming forms about your work experience and qualifications. Read the f**king CV, you twats.
What are you looking for job wise?
And there are the arseholes who email that you've got an interview, only to send another email half an hour later saying it was a mistake. Other lunatics who send you a rejection for a job you didn't apply for. These are recent experiences of my son.

Kinda generic office-based stuff. Don't mind doing data entry all-day, as long as BCG is in the background.
Anything where I don't have to harass/bullshit the general public, or be harassed by the general public, would be nice.
My gag-reflex is too strong to be a submissive twink in gay porn. I just tested it with the stylus for my tablet.
all the local government jobs in the UK, so plenty of data entry, admin and all that shit.
Cheers man.
Wow, that public sector stuff pays pretty well.
At first glance, however, I seem to only fulfil about 10% of the requirements for most positions.
Wish I hadn't bothered with uni, and just learned, say, welding instead.
well hunt around and you'd be surprised how much you can bullshit them.
here's the version for charity. Basically most of the job sites and definitely gumtree are in my experience dead ends
or you could do what I do and elance. Making enough to consider packing in day job

From personal experience, freelancing seldom seems to have that kind of earnings potential. In a good month, it might cover a London rent, which is useful no-doubt, but I can't picture it ever reaching the £1000-£2000/month-range required for full escape of the rat-race.
Unless you are talking about the other type of freelancing, in which case my earnings potential would still be limited by the fact that I don't offer CIM/COF.
Has for me in my spare time
But then I am awesome
