They made the episode but were told by Comedy Central that they wouldn't air it. They made some allusion to the guy who said no in the edited episode, basically calling him a coward.

Maybe they knew it would be censored. Either way neither Fox or Comedy Central would have broadcasted images of Mohammed. Dunno if the Family Guy producers were being pragmactic or scardy pants. I think South Park is brilliant and they always tackle subjects with complete freedom but the Family Guy episode would have carried more weight if it wasn't cesnsored.

Terrible really when you consider that Jesus was a regular character.
