Hi, I stumbled across this website while looking for open mic spots as I think I'm about ready to have my confidence sliced and diced in front of a live audience.
I've been following comedians in a non-stalkery way (on twitter forums) for a couple of years, more to soak up advice etc. Having put together some material of my own my confidence really grew attending a recent improv workshop.
I think my style's going to be more off the cuff, but realise that arriving on stage and just expecting the "magic" to happen is basically suicidal.
Anyway, I thought I'd say hello here thanks for some of the tips I've read on here already and will keep you updated.
