'Til Death

Has anyone caught this on Fiver, (I think). They put a couple of eps on from noon 'till 1. It's worth a look.

As I have said somewhere else, I'm going to be spending the next month in the USA so I hope to report back of anything that is worth watching and worth keeping an eye out for.

In the past year or so, 'Til Death has become the topic of many jokes, mostly about why its still on. I saw a couple episodes and kind of liked the pool one. But that's it.

Sounds like a 'Last of the Summer Wine' type program. We think its crap but we still watch it. We don't really know why - we just feel we've got to support it.

Well, nobody watches this. Nobody understands why it stayed on as long as it did. Its ratings have continually dropped with each season and they even shook up the cast to try to save it. I don't understand why Fox keeps it going, unless Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond's Robert) has some really good dirt on some Fox Exec, like cross dressing photos of Rupert Murdoch. I just don't get it. One episode was literally all about Joely Fisher's boobs and they weren't even in the storyline at all. Blech!!!!

I thought this thread was about the old Alf Garnett ITV sitcom...

I caught an episode of this the other day. Not good. The main guy was great in Raymond, but this is just very thin stuff indeed.

That would have been 'Till', and long moved to the appropriate forum. ;)

I saw a couple of epsisode on the Sony channel on Sky last year, only watched it because I was a fan of Brad Garrett when he was on Everybody Loves Raymond. I found "Till Death" hard to love.

So is it connected to the Alf Garnet thing? If not what the hell is it? There seems to be no explanation here.

Not connected. Just an American sitcom about an uptight man and his wife; starring the brother from 'Everybody Loves Raymond'. It is not good.
