A myth, I think. I've a had a few. Although when the vet saw this one she thought it was male because of her massive manly head. She had to look at her back end to be sure.

This made me laugh much more than it should have. I'll admit I've not done the years of training it takes to become a vet but I'd imagine looking at the back end would be among one of the first things that you'd do to determine the sex of a cat.
