Lenny Henry In Pieces

Does anyone remember this gem?! I dug out the DVD last night and I still find this really funny... Any other thoughts? :D

It was very repetitious...but I liked the recurring "It's because I'm a black man, innit?"-sketch and the funny fights in inappropriate places.

I personally preferred this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWcBsaWpQQY very funny man that Lenny Henry. :D

I really like it... I agree it could be repititious. Can we get a guide made please?

That's a shame, I thought this might be a news headline.

I honestly don't know how he still gets work. Well, I can think of a couple of reasons but not really good enough to justify actual TV work.

After that post I suspect he's in bits

Has anybody seen "True Identity" with Lenny Henry? A lot of comedy films and TV shows seem to make a white actor look fat and black. In this they make Lenny Henry look white and Jewish. funny film. Here is the trailer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JBXtVrGmaI.

I tend to think, Danny John-Jules who plays cat in Red Dwarf is very Lenny Henry inspired for that part. but that's just my opinion.

Agreed. But as a white man he reminded me a bit of Tim Allen.

LOL my missus thinks he looks like Martin Short. A white face and Black Feet. Classic! :D

I'm pretty sure a series 2 was made in 2003. Why is this not available to watch anywhere or even on DVD??
