Sound cues

Morning all,
Trying to cobble together some nonsense for Show wot I wrote and I don't understand how to indicate location changes.

So, how should I write this;

[THIS LINE IS IN A BUSY HIGH STREET]

ACTOR: Hello, I'm in a busy high street

[THIS LINE IS IN AN OFFICE]

ACTOR: Hello, I'm in an office.

This bit is like when an interview is happening and the interviewee refers to something another person did in another environment, a period of time ago.

ACTOR: I'm now refering to something ACTOR2 said in a different environment, several years ago

[DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENT SEVERAL YEARS AGO]

ACTOR2: I'm saying something

Am I making sense?

I use

ATMOS: EXT. BUSY HIGH STREET.

THEN MAYBE SOME ADDITIONAL SOUNDS HERE IF NEEDED.

ACTOR: Hello...

Can't you just use scene headings?

EXT: BUSY HIGH STREET - DAY

You're all wrong. There are no busy high streets.

It's an historical drama.

He was hoping for hysterical, but...

Correction...

ATMOS: DESERTED HIGH STREET.

THE DEATHLY SILENCE OF CLOSED DOWN SHOPS.

ACTOR: Bollocks. I can't cash in my HMV voucher.

And as Mr Lazzard said, using normal scene headings would be just as good.

I'd use the same as Mikey J, mainly as it's what I've seen the most when looking at "real" BBC radio scripts
