He's talking about the American Revolution. He's obviously that brand of American who assumes that the rest of the world define themselves by their interactions with the US, and that we Brits are still mourning the loss of a colony 200 years ago. :S

It also tends to be the people with the least to be proud of that feel the need to reference battles their country had against someone else's years ago when arguing with them, even when it's completely irrelevant to the debate at hand.

Reply to Arron's comment:
That's the kind of attitude that'll get your Brit arses kicked @ Yorktown...well.....that attitude and the French Navy & Army.

I visited the triangle last year. The people were very welcoming, but as historically ill-educated as you accuse the Japanese.

Oh, I'm far beyond "alright. (at times)"
I bet English schools treat Yorktown

Since you 're obviously a stickler for detail, can we get something straight? England is only part of Britain. I'm sure there were Scots, Welsh and Irish taking part in this obscure battle about which I was never taught in school either. Not important to us, I'm afraid.
P.S. I'm not at all surprised people ban you from sites.

See..this is what I missed about the BCG. Intellectually stimulating threads started by well rounded completely rational human beings. If Tor gets so angry about being blacklisted from a website wait till he finds out his dad's not really dead but actually a 90 year old lady boy turning tricks on the streets of Bangkok. 'How da ya like them apples' is actually his chat up line.
Now THAT'S something to get angry about. :)

As they can't even get their own domestic history right, I bet they don't.

A pity they de-activated the comments functions to your vids, Tor. I'm curious for what different people think about them.

BTW, visually they are a feast imo.

More like an epileptic seizure.

More like an epileptic seizure.

Either way, stunning. ;)

But I don't get what's so iconoclastic and shocking about it. Saying things loads of other people already have before you...and saying it in a veeeery cynic and "comic" way.
