What are you watching on TV? Page 1,727

Ricky Gervais likes it.

On the whole it was a pile of arse

That said, it was a trillion times betterer than Life's too short

Oh and KP ain't a bad actor is he?

And I really can't help feel uncomfortable watching Gervais portraying Derek

It's just

I dunno

Creepy

(Someone should really start a new Derek thread.)

Looking forward to catching Game of Thrones, .../

I only watched about two minutes last night before giving up. It was so slow, and the staging so lame, that even the prospect of Lee's highlights couldn't persuade me to persevere. Did I miss anything?

Do yourself a favour and skip season 1, it's a waste of time.

Ohhh

Now you tell me!

Universal Soldier: The Return. When did JCVD get that egg-sized bump on his forehead? He didn't have it in Universal Soldier 7 years earlier.

He's had that for ages!
Maybe it's got bigger, but he had it in the early '90s for sure.

Isn't there a Diversity Day episode in the first season? That's not bad.

House of Cards, as long as I don't think of it as a remake, but rather a dark version of the West Wing

it's rather good.

It's true it doesn't come into it's own until the second season. But it's still a great show. Plus it's further away from the annoying couple the Jim and Pam became. I hate how knowing they are and actually quite enjoy the bits where they get taken down a peg or two. Very pleased they include that in there.
