I don't mind standing. I'm just happy to have some people to meet with on a friday night!
Sorry to be interfering but you know I can't see a potential list and not make it. Have booked a table at Bree Louise, Friday 1st Feb, from 6.30.
Current list is:
Reds
Billwill
Sootyj
Renegade Carpark
Shaggy292
Harridan
AJGO
Don Rushmore
Can ask for bigger table if more people want to come though, I know there's some people waiting to see if they can make it so have booked for couple of extra places in addition to above list.
I didn't bother because hardly any of the BCG booking of tables in the past has worked out anyway. If by the time we arrive the pub is crowded we can't find the table cos others have taken it over. Or it's too small or too big. If it isn't crowded there's usually no problem in taking over a table or two anyway.
We have umpteen fumers in the group who need to be outside at frequent intervals.
The Bree Louise has many tables outside anyway only if it is very crowded would we be both outside and standing.
By the time we have 6 to 8 present we usually have enough 'pressure' to take over one of the tables.
Booking a room sometimes makes sense, booking a table hardly ever. IMO.

Don Rushmore often makes such sarcastic comments about Pub Meet-Ups but as far as I am aware he has never come to one so his comments are not relevant.
