Yeah, unlock doors, that sort of thing. Or 'sonicey' things.

It would be 'sonicky'.

How abort a magic sewing machine for making dalek pants?

It would be 'sew knickies

That's even worse than the sonic screw driver

I met Verity a few times. Lovely woman lovely dog, she'd probably be okay with some of the new stuff, but saddened ironically that fiction in science fiction was better in the past. Or at least in the telling of it.

Looks just like him!

That's freaky

Ah, computer-modelling, much more reliable than your average model-maker working from a few photographs.

There's a story that the Tom Baker doll which came out in the 70s actually had the head of Gareth Hunt to save money or because someone damaged the Baker mould. Not sure it was really true or not.

Gareth Hunt should have been Doctor Who at some stage
Why was he overlooked?

I suspect it would have been quite a gambit if he had been chosen.

Back for an eight-week run from Saturday, March 30th.

It's sooner than I was expecting, so that's good.

Splitting the season in two hasn't really worked. There's no momentum with this series, which is a shame what with this being the fiftieth year and all that.

Yeah, there's not much point splitting a 13 episode series.

It might have a better feel, now that Amy and Rory are gone.

Or it might be restless and inexplicable as Moffat takes his season-long story arc out on a lead and lets it shit everywhere.

Remember the second half of the series is 'the search for the soufflé girl'. Expect a custard pie fight between the Mary Berry Dalek and the Paul Hollywood Cyberleader as Moffat's Cryptomnesia spirals out of control.
