The Ides Of March. Enjoyable political thriller from George Clooney. Like an extended episode of The West Wing, but with a more expensive cast.

'Django Unchained'; was really great. Funny and horrible. DiCaprio, Waltz and Jackson are all brilliant.

Dat.

Definitely one of my next two or three movies I'm going to watch.

Leonardo DiCaprio has such a great on-screen presence but I don't care about his Scorsese period. Here in Django though he shines.

I prefer him playing vulnerable, messed up characters. Don't think he does them much anymore.

Basketball Diaries. <3

That's the thing though, he still looks 14, so any time he plays somebody in authority it's a little bit harder to believe.

He has been doing a samey 'thing' for a while. The sort of intense thing. In this, he gets to really go all out.

Waltz stole the picture imo, as with Inglourious Basterds.

Samuel L Jackson is so great in it, just so evil. I only seem to really like him in Tarantino films. At least, Tarantino's films tend to be the only things he's in that I'm interested in.

De Caprio was pretty good in The Departed, although acting wise the film was stolen by massively sweary Mark Wahlberg.

Yep; though he'd have to be shocking not to, given the role.

Totally my favourite Leo era. (And Romeo + Juliet, sigh.)
