Things that piss you off Page 1,177

I'm sick of the lose fat with this simple trick pop up ads, I think the internet is calling me fat (I'm not, honestly, not by much anyway - they wouldn't use an image of me when panning the streets for a news item on obesity at least, put it that way)

I have never clicked on them but I assume the 'weird tip' is probably eat less and move about more.

A few years ago I frequently received spam-mails with "Penis Enlargement" as subject. Cheeky bastards!

Oh! you must forward them to me. I have been scouring the net for years to find a device or drug that would do that. Can't seem to find anything on penis enlargement.

People eating peanuts from a bag. Their slippery salty fingers bother me, even from across a room.

I never knew peanuts functioned as a lubricant.

Got a text from the school this morning, saying they were definitely open. No question. So we went through all the effort of taking the child in, through the snow and slush...Just had another one saying they're closing.

What sort of message does this put out? If you can't even trust the school to attend itself, why should the kids?

Overly talkative members of the public on game shows etc. Seems like they think they should have a job in TV themselves.

Shut the f**k up.

The public always make me cringe.

Glad I'm not a member of the public.

Noel Coward's aphorism that television is for appearing on, not looking at, has a more general applicability when reversed.

It's always a 'weird tip'.

White teeth, flat stomachs, clear skin; all have been solved by a 'weird tip' over the years.

Often these ads also mention that the secret was "discovered by a mom", and that the "doctors/dentists are furious".

It staggers me that such obviously scammy-bullshit adverts are allowed on reasonably respectable websites (Youtube/Facebook etc.), rather than their more-obvious homes on porn/bittorrent sites.

"Did you know the people that are the strongest are usually the most sensitive? Did you know the people who exhibit the most kindness are the first to get mistreated? /.etc etc../ May I ask my fb friends wherever you might be, to kindly copy and paste this status"

Agreed

Oh god. Thankfully that sort of dreck doesn't happen on Twitter. (It doesn't fit.)
