Hi,
I'm working with the charity Samaritans for a campaign to make people 'Feel Good' in January to publicise 'Feel Good Friday' on 1st February. The aim of 'Feel Good Friday' is to encourage well-being & fundraising in the workplace.
We're needing comedians to donate around an hour of their time for a stunt to make local people laugh in Manchester and Bristol.
We're looking to do the stunt around lunchtime (12:30) on Wedsnesday 23rd (Bristol) and Friday 25th (Manchester). It will see stand-up comedians 'busking' in locations in the city to cheer people up on their lunch breaks.
There are now 201 branches of Samaritans across the UK and Republic of Ireland. They provide confidential emotional support for anyone experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which could lead to suicide.
Any help you could offer would be very much appreciated.
We've got some great media coverage already confirmed such as BBC Radio Manchester. We'll also continue to push out the coverage after the stunt.
Please get in touch if you are local to either area and can donate some time. Even if you can put me in contact with someone who might be able to help.
Thanks,
Lexi
