Love The Divine Comedy. And the album he did recently as a duo with Thomas Walsh from the Band 'Pugwash' is really worth a look. It's about cricket, but forget that putting you off, it's full of great songs:
Haven't heard of that collaboration yet, I must check it out. The bottom half of the cover reminds me of the cover of Genesis' Nursery Crime.
