What are you watching on TV? Page 1,709

That's why I thought he ripped it off him. He wants to BE him. I think he'd get an actual erection if someone called him the "British Louie CK". :D

The Sweeney

Come Dine with me with Angelos Apethemeioux everyone else is rubbish, but he's all you need.

That and I was tickled to see all the guests caning special brew.

Just flicked over to Animal Antics on BBC1. Oh dear.

It really is that bad.

Well, it's basically a rip off of ITV's Animals Do The Funniest Things. Does the BBC really need such crap? Oh wait, Hammond's on next; I guess so.

I watched quite a lot of CITV's 80s/90s day. Nightmare and Press Gang were ace.

Tim Brooke-Taylor is auditioning to become the new Dennis Norden.

I forgot about that :(

Finally, ITVPlayer has a use!

OMG! Nightmare.... so weird watching this. I feel 10 again :D

I thought that was odd too, what was wrong with the usual wine or shampoo? The show was a bit like 'old comedy meets new comedy' to me or even the Stan Boardman v wassisname contest both trying to out comedy the other. Stan was doing great until it was his turn and he dressed up as Ken Dodd, a cringey move in the worst uncool manner of old scholl comedy after his quickfire old jokes I thought outdid Angelos' amusing but ambitious hit and miss comedy dinner routine.

The guy behind Angelos reminds a bit of perfectionist Steve Coogan, working hard on his character but fogetting about the quality of punchlines. With Stan it was terrible characterisation and acting but the old jokes still hit home. Like I say it was like 'old comedy takes on new comedy'. Fascinating. Should have taped it!

Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery. I never tire of, Austin Powers. Yeah baby!

Outnumbered is on. I hate those posh sod kids.
