He also did the same thing when he met the girlfriend/wife of one of the workers when he was waiting for his date at the office party ("I was waiting for a blind date and was worried you were it"), which is probably the one you thought he had meant.

Ah, I never realised he'd said it about the pub date, I thought he'd just said it when he saw the fat woman. I blame Gervais. Middle Period Lazy Ricky has made me not rewatch Young Tight Rickly so much.

It's harder to be sympathetic to her because we are unable to hear her internal monologue. With Mark and Jeremy we can appreciate what is going on in their minds.
Really enjoyed the last two shows.

I'd love an episode where the same 5 minutes of action are replayed from the point of view of 5 different characters, each with their own monologue. I suspect I am firmly in the minhority here.

I agree with most of the good and bad points that have been mentioned here.

I really did think it was smart to change the dynamics of the show, corporate Hans, life coach Jeremy, loser Mark. Makes me wonder if this series was a transitional series, much like early episodes of other TV shows where we are just getting to know the characters, but more importantly where the writers are getting to know the new characters?

How do you make Jeremy a successful loser without losing the old Jeremy? It's a learning curve and once they find their feet the show will be back on form. Because I think we can all agree the jokes are still there, the quotable lines and Peep Showisms. It just needs to be guided back on track.

I think the Sophie interior monologue is an extra on the Series 5 DVD.

I don't like 1 to 4 very boring those ones

Was listening to Heresy, from 2008, the other day and noticed Victoria Coren mention her perfect way to meet partners by advertising certain things on eBay. I wonder if she had input into Super Hans dating techniques.

Oooh, I hope so!

Or perhaps the writers heard the show and stole the idea?
