Hancock's Half Hour - The Lost Episodes transfers to the award-winning venue The White Bear Theatre in London for one week only!

Written by the perennial duo Ray Galton and Alan Simpson, this show marks the very first time these scripts have been performed for nearly sixty years, when they were first broadcast featuring "the lad himself" Tony Hancock with Bill Kerr, Sidney James, Andree Melly and Kenneth Williams.

This new play features the radio episode A Winter's Tale (performed as a live radio recording from the 1950s complete with staged sound effects) and the television episode The Italian Maid (with Hancock set).

do you have any previews on the YouTube?

Afraid we're not permitted to post any clips from the tour we did under our licence agreement. The writers and their manager want to keep tabs on all the material as this is very much a "one-off", but there are some photos up on our site.

After a write up in the Daily Mail, ticket sales have rocketed for this, but there are still tickets left at www.wegottickets.com/HambledonProductions

If you're a fan of British comedy (and especially its origins) which, I'm presuming, most of us on here are!, then this is an unmissable show.

Nice idea, any plans to do the lost film script 'The day off'?

Adapting a film script would be a challenge.... And it was performed earlier this year at the BFI.... But we don't rule anything out :P The show sold out last night, and has sold out tonight as well, so please book tickets in advance if people want to come along. Reviews to follow shortly...

Due to popular demand, we have an extra (and final) show on tonight at the White Bear Theatre in Kennington, starting at 9.15pm. Tickets will be just £10 and available on the door. Hope to see some of you there!
