How happy is the blameless vestal's lot!
The world forgetting, by the world forgot.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!
Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd ...

Hmm, is that aimed at RC, you or me?
Angelic

My self merely I enjoy the eternal sunshine of a spotless mind.

Uh huh. Well, it's time for a cup of cocoa and bed for me, so night night and Happy New wotsit.

I genuinely thought this thread was about Auf Wiedersehen Pet and never bothered looking at it until now.

We should ban these threads. I'm sick of a attention seeking whores. Oh you're going? Boohoo! Just leave with some quiet dignity. It's a bloody internet forum, what are you expecting a life time achievement award and a pat on the back?

You even mention that you're still going to lurk! You're not even going? Quick Aaron, let's ban his IP address and make him commit to his words.

See ya next week when you change your mind Wave

Bye Renegade of Carpark Don't leave us to long Laughing out loud

Don't stay away too long RC. A little farewell poem for you....

Renagade Car Park
Like a dark ark
Or a copper's nark
Or the top knots from the Cutty Sark
Polarising from an angel's hark
To a death dog's bark

I thought it was about the Sound Of Music...great film by the way, saw it again this afternoon, those clothes for the kids Julie Andrews made from old drapes, fab, and the songs, oh and when the Captain sings Edelweiss, I always get so choked up at that and the views and the .....R.C would have just loved it...wouldn't you R.C?

:(

:( Shame.

:( Shame.

I somehow read that as the word "c**t" and I have no idea why? Maybe I just expected to see that word in an R.C thread?

Awww

I love the scene where the family sings Edelweiss at the concert near the end. Did you know that Christopher Plummer's singing voice was deemed not good enough, so a professional was brought in to dub his songs? Here's his original Edelweiss, before the dubbing: http://vimeo.com/4143597

That's a lovely rendition by him, better than the dubbing.
