I take it this is officially or unofficially cancelled? The 2nd series has never materialised on DVD, it seems to have been abandoned?

Series 2 did very poorly ratings wise so I'm pretty sure it won't be coming back.
Is this coming back?
Still haven't heard anything concrete either way, but I think it's relatively safe to conclude that it is, at best, increasingly unlikely.
Shame, it was okay.
Like Peep Show with old people, can't say I'm entirely surprised it's not captured the imagination.
It was ok though.

It's never usually a problem if sitcoms are a bit like other sitcoms. Take the example of the success of... well, most successful sitcoms apart from The Office.
Why are you not able to buy Series 2 on DVD?
Ask the BBC. 
Is it because of the ratings and they're making a complete collection of The Old Guys on DVD?

Most likely reason is that Series 1 didn't sell well enough.
Also it says on the DVD I have it is a rubbish and a horrid BBC sitcom
