Mine never are. I've solved this by not hoping days will be easy. Still end up harder than I thought though

Have just had a failed bread-baking. 
It didn't rise and seems half-raw, so looks like it didn't mix. Hope the machine isn't kaput. So just crappy biscuit things to go with tonight's soup.
I hate it when that happens because it takes so long to find out!
