Indeed.
I don't think teenaged girls should be denied a programme that reflects their lives just because a load of old men are going to perve over it.

I only saw the last episode, but I rather enjoyed it.

It's funny, and a little bit gross, but ultimately quite sweet. And the 4 leads are fupping brilliant. Each one very funny and very different. Such great casting!

Really happy it's been recommissioned.

I liked it, it even had a few laugh out loud moments, which is rare for me in most comedy shows.

Funny funny. For those who didn't find it funny get a life please .. I bet your Christmas tree looks well boring with one light and no balls. Laughing out loud..

I liked Simon Amstell's twin in the final episode. Wonder if he'll be in Series 2.

Oh yeah, I thought that too.

He was very good looking for the school nerd though.

That girl was quite hirsute wasn't she!

My best friend has been urging me to watch this, but I haven't got round to it. I've probably missed it now even on Catch Up. I'm always a bit wary of the BBC Three yoof comedies but I have been pleasantly surprised a few times, so maybe I should try.

It's that rude/adult comedy thing - it's really hard to get it right. Is this rude and is it rude in a good, well done way or in a way that might make me want to clean my teeth and wash in bleach after viewing?

Most of it isn't even rude. But when it is, you shouldn't need to bleach your eyes afterwards or anything.

I managed to see the final epsiode on Catchup. I think I could really do with seeing the earlier episodes because I got the feeling that I could have appreciated it more if I'd seen characters develop and knew more about their back stories. I could see it was nicely acted and quite warm hearted.

As for its treatment of rudeness being too much for me, the scene in which she shakes semen from her hand nearly had me switching off. Not because I object to jokes about sex or body fluids per se, but the idea of it splashing onto a baby in a pushchair (even though I don't think we saw that happen) just didn't amuse me. I'm a middle aged mother :) - and I teach girls that age. Had she emerged holding her hand oddly and held it that way or wiped it somewhere inappropriate, maybe, but the spraying seemed like too cheap and unpleasant a laugh for the rest of the show.

However, that was only one brief scene so I won't get my knickers in too much of a twist or get all Mary Whitehouse over it. I'll try to see the rest at some point.

It didn't actually make me laugh, though it did entertain me. The episode I saw felt patchy.

That scene was absolutely disgusting! I didn't like it either. But that's the only bit I've seen that went too far for me. (Although I haven't yet seen all the eps.)

I'm sorry to say but Some Girls is really what some girls do.

I finally managed to find time to watch the series last week, and found it really enjoyable. I approached it with lower than low expectations admittedly, but I did find myself laughing out loud quite a lot. Thoroughly entertaining series, and I look forward to the second run later this year.
