Scary snowmen with sharp teeth for Christmas!

Looks like Moffat has finally landed on the big snake and will take us back to the Sylvester McCoy/Colin Baker era.

Ooh, hopefully the last two McCoy seires, that would be good.

I've seen the outfit he's wearing at Christmas, and the one he'll be in for the series proper, and it's still old-fashioned clothes.

In one scene, he dresses like Sherlock Holmes!?!?!?!

Well, those are old fashioned clothes. And not to piss on anyones chips, but Tom Baker also dressed up in a very Holmes fashion in The Talons Of Weng Chiang. (Of course we have no idea why Smith's Doctor has, and it certainly isn't his Doctor 'outfit'.)

All the models in the latest Rimmel advert are dressed like Sherlock Holmes too.

But when The Talons of Weng Chiang was made, Philip Hinchcliffe wasn't producing Sherlock Holmes, too!

The only person not dressing like Sherlock Holmes these days is... er, Eamonn Holmes?

Can't help feeling like I missed an opportunity for a better punchline there...

Oh dear.
It's all gone a bit Abbot & Costello...

(Sorry, 30 seconds of advert before clip!)

Ha! Well it made me laugh. :)

The gag's good.
Just not sure it belongs...

On further pondering I'm wondering whether it's an 'outtake' or a bit they specially shot..it's quite a long sequence for what is normally a very fast paced show (so fast they sometimes forget to explain the plot!!)

Terror of the Zygons is coming out on DVD next year, ain't it? Can't wait for that as it's one of my faves.

Tardis caught on film while travelling through the 1930s.
